Two people were killed and two seriously injured when a car crashed into two utility poles in Stamford, according to multiple sources.
It happened around 5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26 near the intersection of Canal Street and Henry Street.
One person was dead at the scene and the other died at Stamford Hospital after the vehicle with six passengers traveling southbound crashed into the poles.
The others in the car have been hospitalized, with two injuries reported to be serious.
The streets were closed during the crash investigation.
